Finance Technologies LTD. is an investment management firm that employs mathematical, statistical methods, as well as historical patterns in the design and execution of its investment programs.

 

The story commenced in 2010

At a private economic forum in London, Sir Ronald Cohen met the investor and entrepreneur Akos Balogh. Both were passionate about the idea of transforming venture capital: Cohen sought to create sustainable investment vehicles with social impact, while Balogh had a unique intuition for identifying promising technology startups.

Inspired by their shared vision, they decided to join forces and, in 2016, founded ImpactTech Capital — an investment fund specialising in venture capital projects with significant social impact. One of the fund's first major successes was GreenGrid, a startup that developed an innovative energy storage system based on recycled materials. Thanks to ImpactTech Capital’s investments, the company was able to expand into international markets and secure substantial government grants to further develop clean technologies.
 

Another landmark achievement under Cohen and Balogh’s leadership was the establishment of FutureSkills, an educational platform designed to provide high-quality training in technology and finance to young professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK and across Europe. With their backing, the project was integrated into government initiatives, and its graduates gained access to top-tier employers. Since 2023, their paths have diverged. Akos Balogh has gone on to establish Finance Technologies LTD in partnership with the renowned financial strategist Valerii Maier.

 

Today, the company employs an average of 30 professionals, each with over 12 years of experience. It fosters an intellectually vibrant culture of collaboration, discipline, critical analysis, and intensive research. The team includes four PhD holders in mathematics, physics, computer science, and related fields.
